COLONEL MAHIP CHADHA was commissioned in 1966 into The Second Battalion The Third Gorkha Rifles; one of the finest battalions in the world which had the honour of winning two Victoria Crosses in WWI.
The battalion saw action in both the World Wars returning to India after a final stint in Pakistan, and was taken over by Indian Officers at Ferozepore. Colonel Chadha retired in Jun 2000, after which he worked in various jobs till he finally retired as the President of Helios Aviation. He turned to writing after the demise of his wife Kiran in 2010.
Group Captain JV Singh (retd) holds a masters degree from Lucknow University, 1975 Batch. He was commissioned in the Indian Air Force in June 1978. During his active service of over 32 years, he has served in various capacities in discharge of his professional duties. He has held a number of field and staff appointments in his branch in IAF and also served in a DRDO Laboratory. He is a graduate of the prestigious Defence Services Staff College and has undergone a course in National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE).
